KRTU 91.7 FM JAZZ Membership Spotlight

Annette Skalomenos grew up hearing Jazz legends such as Glenn Miller and Nat King Cole thanks to her parents' love for their music. So when she moved to San Antonio with her husband Tom and their 3 sons, having lived in 6 countries and various states due to serving in the US Air Force, one of the first things she did was look for a jazz station. A Rhythm Section member for KRTU, Annette now spends her days as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, Realtors, and it’s clear that she loves what she does. “Through our many global relocations, I learned what HOME means and truly enjoy helping my clients find their best fit homes... I consider it a privilege to be helping during life’s major life transitions.” She loves both San Antonio and KRTU, and the latter of the two is her “constant companion,” as she’s on the road throughout the day. In her free time, Annette cooks, attends yoga classes, plays tennis, and does many other enriching activities. Also, we would be remiss to not give a shout-out to her adorable Corgi, Susie.
